About Us

Scouts BSA is for any child in 5th grade or older, 11 thru 17 years old.  Our scouts come together from area schools including Milford, Loveland, St Columban MVCA, & Goshen schools, as well as home schooled.  Being in scouting provides a great opportunity for learning leadership, problem solving, team building and outdoor skills.  The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is preparing our youth to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Scouts are active in a lot of great activities, including community service, camping, ziplining, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, photography, computers, cooking, and much, much more!  To learn more about Scouts BSA and Dan Beard Council <Click here>.

We also participate in High Adventure each summer.  The rotation includes Philmont (Hiking in mountains of NM), Northern Tier (Minnesota Canoeing), Summit (West Virginia outdoor adventures)  & SeaBase (Sailing in the FL Keys).

Troop 635 meets Monday’s at 7pm EST at Epiphany United Methodist Church in Loveland, OH during the school year.  We have about 50 scouts in our troop, with a high percentage of scouts achieving Eagle rank.
